Amber A. Ames

Associate

Amber A. Ames joined Lehner & Rodrigues as an associate in June of 2007. Before joining the firm, Ms. Ames practiced insurance defense with the law firm of Underwood & Norwood. Ms. Ames was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in Eastern Washington. She moved to Oregon in 2003 and has chosen Oregon as her home.

Ms. Ames graduated from Whitman College in 2003, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. She completed her law degree with Willamette University College of Law in 2006. While in law school, she was an Editor for the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Service of Willamette Law Online, as well as a member of Moot Court Board and competed in several appellate and trial competitions. During law school, she clerked for the Oregon Department of Justice, General Counsel Division, Business Transactions Section.

Ms. Ames is a member of the Oregon State Bar, Multnomah County Bar Association, Oregon Women Lawyers Association, and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel. She was admitted into United States District Court for the District of Oregon in 2007.
