Our PeopleIayesha SmithAssociate
Prior to joining the firm, Iayesha practiced with the firm of Crispin
Russell PC, where she focused on employment and civil rights litigation
involving both the private and public sectors. She previously
worked as a contract attorney for several Portland firms,
gaining experience in a variety of areas of law.
Iayesha is a member of the Oregon State Bar and is admitted to the
United States District Court for the District of
Oregon. She is active in the Multnomah Bar Association,
Young Lawyers Section, and was selected to receive an Award of Merit
for her service to the organization. She is also a member of the
Oregon Association of Defense Counsel and Oregon Women
Lawyers.

Iayesha Smith joined Lehner & Rodrigues as an
associate in April of 2008. She grew up in McMinnville, Oregon
and received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oregon
in 2000, graduating summa cum laude . Iayesha went on
to receive her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law in
2004 and graduated Order of the Coif (top 10%). While completing her
law degree, she was a managing editor on Oregon Law
Review, where she received an award for editorial excellence.
