Arbitration and MediationMike Lehner and Carl Rodrigues provide a wide range of alternative dispute resolution services for attorneys in Oregon and Washington, private parties, insurance companies and municipalities throughout the Pacific Northwest Mike and Carl are available for mediation, arbitration, settlement conferences, neutral case evaluations, mock trials, coverage mediation, negotiation training, dispute resolution system design and consultation, and other alternative dispute resolution services. Dispute resolution is both an art and a science, and there is no single method that will most effectively resolve every case. Our experience allows us to employ both facilitative conferences, where we help the parties focus their opinions and attempt to narrow the distances between them, and with a more evaluative approach, where we provide a thorough and balanced assessment of the dispute from a neutral perspective based on our experience and attempt to help all parties move towards mutual acceptance. In most cases, we use a mix of both techniques -- and other skills we've learned over the years -- to help achieve compromise and resolve disputes. Our ADR hourly rate is $200, with a flat administrative fee of $100 per party. Fixed fee arrangements are also available for complex cases.
